A new in-ground pool had left the backyard unfinished — no patio, no defined space, no plan. We extended the paver patio, built a retaining wall to correct the grade, added steps and a landing to connect the elevations, and finished the yard with sod, planting beds, and defined edging, all approved as a full layout before construction started.

A newly installed in-ground pool left the backyard torn up, with the existing garden beds cramped and falling apart. We rebuilt the beds as raised garden beds with retaining walls and clean, defined lines, added layered plantings and decorative stone for year-round color, rerouted downspouts underground to a pop-up emitter away from the house and garage, and finished the yard with a full sod makeover.

A dated pool deck had started to fail, with settled, uneven sections that had become tripping hazards. We tore out the old surface and rebuilt the deck on a properly compacted base, reset dead level to the pool coping and pitched away from the house to eliminate trip points and standing water, and finished with a textured, slip-resistant paver surface — reviewed and approved with the homeowners before construction began.

A full patio renovation designed as one complete outdoor living space — new paver patio, retaining walls, and full landscaping. We developed the layout and 3D renderings during the design phase so the homeowners could approve every detail before construction began. The build is currently underway; final photos are coming soon.

A 20-plus-year-old wood deck had reached the end of its life, and a sloped backyard limited how much of the acre-and-a-half property the homeowners could actually use. We are replacing the deck with a complete outdoor living space: geogrid-reinforced retaining walls and tiered patio levels turn the grade into level living areas, and the layout is split into three defined zones — a cookout and bar area, a dining area, and a firepit lounge with built-in seating walls. The firepit was relocated in the design so the tree became a feature instead of a hazard, downspouts are being redirected away from the foundation, and the yard is being regraded and re-established with sod. The full design was produced and approved before a shovel hit the ground; construction is underway now.
